Velzy-ish Volan Flex Fin – Based off an original Velzy template, this fin is pure magic. Works in everything from 7‘0” up to 9’0”. This is our flagship fin for our Rolled Vee’s. Springy off the bottom and holds through turns to slingshot you back out into the next section, my favourite fin of all time.
Volan fiberglass
Originally used in boatbuilding and general fiberglass construction, volan fell out of favour with the surfboard industry when silane treated glass was introduced, making for much clearer laminates. Volan glass is still an excellent glass for single fins, retro fins, longboard and logger fins. It has a unique flex to it, very strong in its fiber, giving it a spring-like flex, identifiable by its light olive green tinge.
